The Plomari Ouzo Isidoros Arvanitis Distillery has moved to a new site in the middle of a magnificent olive grove, but is still in picturesque Plomari, the place where Isidoro Arvanitis created Plomari Ouzo in 1894 and where it has been produced for over 100 years . The Distillery combines traditional methods of distillation and production with the latest scientific bottling and packaging techniques. It consists of small handmade copper stills, while all procedures are carried out under strictly controlled conditions strictly complying with all sanitary regulations. The aniseed and fennel used in the distillation process are of high quality and come from the fields of the Distillery in Lisvori, Lesvos.

The main ingredient is a grain distillate, which is flavored by distillation with herbs, fruit and the dominant anise, giving it its distinctive flavour.
